Magical Dinners
Today I had another magical moment. Acceptance without judgement. I was picking up Vinay to go on a hike, but we stopped into his neighbor’s house to say hi. Grandma Pat. When I stepped into the backyard, a magical portal opened. There were people sitting at a table having an afternoon cocktail and snacks. The garden was filled with herbs and flowers and fairies. What was to be a quick hello turned into a magical dinner party. People started coming over… I met Uncle Bill, David, Corrinda, Xylon, Xylon’s girlfriend, Susanne, and Telly. Grandma Pat made us a delicious magical dinner.
Butterfly | Transformation
This little feller landed and posed for me today.
We drove away and came back
And found it waiting on the picket fence.
The wind was blowing, and blowing
And it had a message for me.
The truth is that you’re birthing each and every moment.

Bill Cunningham New York | Street Corner Girl
A friend recommended I see this movie at the Nuart… Bill Cunningham New York. I did. And I loved it.
The Telegraph UK writes a great article and includes a video clip.
Meanwhile, who is Street Corner Girl?
My friend Ashley Lewis. She blogs about FASHION, the kind of fashion she wears.
So, through her eyes, see what I love.

Little Ethiopia
A delicious dinner in Little Ethiopia with Chris and Spencer after 4 days and 3 nights in Vegas.
I love my friends. I love experiencing so much culture.
Unphotographable | Sunday
As I stepped out of the house to go to dinner last night at 5:45pm, I realized I just missed what must have been an amazing sunset. The sky was still tinged with glowing orange red. I could feel the beauty of it all. So I chased the sunset while the rest of the sky fell into night. I found out later my friend was riding back on his bike to meet me and so he was absorbed into most of it. What a beautiful ride that must have been.
I didn’t take my camera out last night. I needed a night off to enjoy life. And it was perfect. I felt lighter, more carefree.
We had dinner at a Korean BBQ place, drinks at Hotel Figueroa, and True Grit at the Regal Theatre.
Yellow orange lights under around entwining leaves and black curving iron swirls.
Laughter, smiles, quick steps, a touch and I’m swinging around…
Under the dark star lit sky.
Music. Cool air. A beautiful life.
