Neil Gaiman ♥
In a few hours, I will be with Neil Gaiman in the same room. I know I will see him. I know I will hear him. What is left to chance is if I will speak to him and/or if I will touch him whilst shaking hands or hugging. I might sell my soul to the devil to chance in my favor.
Therefore in honor of this delightful encounter, I am posting the photos and video that I stole for a night in 2008. Maybe the devil will bargain with me.
The photos are with my digital point and shoot, zoomed in. I could put a filter to it, Instagram maybe, but I like this for the nostalgia.

I wish I had my D90 during my New York trip in 2008. Time flies. Here are more photos.
Kitty
We were in Palm Springs for a photo show in the spring. The other hotel where the festivities took place was amazingly beautiful and calm. There was proof of the wonder of it all from the stillness of this cat.

Yes. The sun had 5 minutes before it went down behind that moutain. And we were still a top Echo Mountain. The hike down would take us 45 minutes in the dark, but we had head lamps on. Deer saw us and we saw deer! They peered over us as we hiked down the trail. We had to look to see if they were coyotes, but alas, and thankfully, they were deer!
Wonderland
This was outside our hotel in Palm Springs. It was a small pond but it felt endless.

A Dragon Eye in the Sky
You can almost see him but he’s hiding. He is curious and wants to see you. So he is peeking at you with one eye. If you blink he’ll be gone, flying peacefully over you as you slumber.
