New Mexico Road Trip | March 20-27
Micki and Tim departed LA and I followed them for the first leg of the journey.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
But a camera couldn’t even capture my whole heart.
March 20
- Bright and early on the road. We left at 7am… There was already traffic according to Pops.
- On the road… this is somewhere in San Bernardino.
- Still on the road…
- Micki… I guess she was serious about getting out of LA!
- Snow just outside of Flagstaff, Arizona
- I captured this micro seconds as we passed for my sister in law Janet because she loves bears.
March 21
- We made it! Give me a reason to come back! We actually made it at 2am/3am NM time.
- I’m living with Gnomes!
- Unloaded!!! We finally unloaded the Uhaul but there was still the van to unload…
- Finally. Everything unloaded. The sun was setting…
- Strawberries laced with sugar
- Micki and Marisa made strawberries ‘n bisquick ‘n cool whip. There was dinner too. But that was all gone. No photos.
March 22
- Claire is helping me work at the window seat. I did most of my work that I could at this window seat.
- I took a walk and found this in the garage. Very appropriate.
- I came back to Claire at the window seat… “Look at me! I’m making a basket!”
March 23
- The view outside my bedroom. At night we can hear coyotes howling and teaching their pups how to howl.
- My dinner at Gabriel’s with a margarita before the high school play.
March 24
- We saw Gizmo!

- Phoebe! She is a recluse. But I was able to pet her and she let me take this photo.

March 26

March 27

- Willy is going to miss me until I come back.

Beauty: Lost & Found
We were on a little hike in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We were looking for raspberries. We found one. I ate it thinking there’d be more. It was the only one. But I found this little gem. She’s a beauty.
